The truth about it:

Superelvis needed to release a live recording in order to narrow the gap between their absolutely unrehearsed shows and their carefully produced albums (or was it the other way round?) So they had this nice recording for Spanish national radio, made on june 5th, 1995, for the Diario Pop show. So we asked Jesús Ordovás (the conductor of the show) if we could release it and he said ok, no problem. Nevertheless the new Spanish National Radio board did not think the same and asked us for an extravagant amount of money to release our own show. They said it was to cover the copyright. We bragged "Listen, we own the copyrights of that, you should pay us for them". Then they changed their minds and said "Ok, it is to cover our archival expenses. That's what it costs to make a copy of a tape in our archives". We said "Listen, we already got the tape. YOU gave it to us when we played". They went "This does not count. It is AS YOU DID NOT HAVE IT". We said "We are sorry, but we do have a first generation DAT copy of the show and we are going to use it". And sorry we were, because we could not title the album "Superelvis en el Diario Pop" (that was the first idea) and we had to use this fantastic Elvis Presley title instead. And of course, we could never publicly aknowledge who was involved in the genesis of the album. So, finally, here it is: thanks, Jesús!
